Faux Brick Grey Porcelain Glazed Wall and Floor Tiles 600x300mm
This tile is a porcelain material, which means it is stain and water resistant; perfect for a messy kitchen or bathroom with condensation.
As this is a wall & floor tile, you can create a seamless and modern effect by using the tile on both surfaces. Otherwise, using the tiles on one surface will still help achieve the contemporary look while tying in other colours and materials for greater personalisation.
When added to a wall, this tile protrudes at varying lengths. This adds a modern, tasteful, artistic and sophisticated feel to your room.
The glazed finish on this tile is created through the manufacturing process, in which the tile receives a layer of liquid glass and is then fired into the kiln. In turn this means that the tile becomes stain resistant, making it easy to clean and maintain. The glaze allows water to simply wipe off of the surface, which in a bathroom or kitchen environment is ideal. Glazed tiles are also one of the most hardwearing tile materials, and therefore good for lots of traffic, so are also suitable for hallways or busy households.
The grey colour creates a modern and chic aesthetic, and can lighten otherwise dark rooms with its natural shade.
This product is suitable for underfloor heating, so you need not worry about the temperature of tiles.

Prepare the Surface Area
Any cracks or damaged areas should be repaired and the surface should be level. If a primer has been purchased then the primer should be applied and left to dry. Plan the Layout of the Tiles
Mark the centre of the surface area using snap chalk and plan where each tile will lay. This can be completed by dry laying each tile or simply marking where each tile will be installed. This will allow the edge pieces to be measured and cut accordingly.
It is important to read manufacturer’s instructions if the adhesive requires mixing. The adhesive should be applied with a trowel and only 1 meter squared should be applied at a time. A ¼” coat is usually recommended; however, this may vary depending on the tile. Use the notched side of the trowel at a 45-degree angle to remove any excess adhesive.
Lay the Tiles
If you are laying floor tiles then start in the centre of the room, or if you’re laying wall tiles then start in a corner and work your way across. Place spacers in between tiles to ensure an even joint gap is created. Gently tap all tiles into place and wipe away any excess adhesive from the surface of the tiles using a damp sponge. Always check the lines are even using a spirit level. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
Use a grout flout to push the grout into the joints at a 45-degree angle using diagonal swipes. Ensure any excess grout is removed from the surface of the tiles to avoid damaging the final appearance. The grout should take around 20 minutes to cure. Once the grout has cured, wipe down all tiles with a damp cloth. Once the tiles have been left for 72 hours then you are able to apply a coat of sealant over the tiles or grout.Always read the manufacturer’s instructions on packaging as aspects of the installation method may change due to variation of products.
